Ski blog – Great Escapades from Eclipse Ski

Chalet Soltir is a newly renovated ski chalet dating from 1869 with the history of the building being tenderly preserved throughout the renovation process in 2006. Your hosts Amy and Mark met in the French Alps both working in similar high class chalets and brought their idea of opening a full catered ski chalet to Bansko 3 years ago.

The chalet sleeps up to 12 people including 2 family rooms and 2 twin/double rooms. After skiing you may want to enjoy a glass of hot mulled wine on our large terrace followed by a freshly baked cake served in our cosy lounge with a log burning stove and plenty to do including board games, DVD/VHS player and a Nintendo Wii. The chalet also has free WiFiand a laptop for you to use. In the evening we serve a wholesome 3 course meal in our grand dining room along with unlimited wine and beer.

We are situated 100 yards from the old cobbled town of Bansko and a further 100 yards from all the shops, bars and restaurants. The gondola is a 10 minute stroll fro the chalet but if you prefer we supply a private shuttle bus to and from the gondola with an option of dodging the queue, if their is one, by running you up to the next lift!
