Chalet Jora is centrally located, within very easy walking distance to the bars, restaurants and shops in Bansko. The gondola station is only a 10 minute walk from the chalet, however we provide a flexible private shuttle service to and from the lift each day in our chalet minibus. Chalet Jora is owner run by Brits Jay and Laura, we don’t live in the chalet, however we’ll be on hand to make sure your holiday with us is fantastic.

The chalet is an old building which has been renovated to a high standard to offer guests comfort and luxury as well as retaining traditional charming features such as dark wood beams, wooden floors and a beautiful log fire. Creating the perfect atmosphere and environment to relax with a drink and a cake in the spacious lounge after a great day on the slopes.

Comfortable, fully equipped and well furnished apartments, located just 400 metres from the gondola that connects the village with the VALLNORD Arinsal-Pal ski resort and just 8 km from Andorra’s capital and Caldea, Europe’s largest recreational spa. Central heating, proper kitchen, bathroom, open fire place, garage for one car, sunny terrace. Free outside parking.

Our self catering chalet for up to 10 persons:
Cosy mountain chalet, located just 200m from the VALLNORD Arinsal-Pal gondola. Garden with a BBQ, terrace, private parking, living room with wooden beams and open fire place, parquet flooring throughout the chalet, central heating, 2 bathrooms, proper kitchen etc. The chalet is not luxurious but nevertheless comfortable, warm and clean. Each of the 5 bedrooms has a built-in cupboard with lots of hanging space, shelves and drawers.

Our self catering chalet for 14+ persons:
Nice mountain chalet located just 400m from the gondola that takes you up to the Pal-Arinsal ski resort. Ideal for large families or groups of friends.
6+ bedrooms, 2 bathrooms + separate toilet, proper kitchen, garage for 1
car. The living room, kitchen and sunny terrace overlook the valley. Free outside parking.

Services close to all properties (meaning not having to take the car, max. 400m):
4 restaurants, 5 pubs, bread shop, cafés, a bank, cyber-cafés, ski rental shops, cable car, pharmacy, village supermarkets and 1 disco. None of the above mentioned services are located in or close by and thus do not create a disturbance at night.

With the rental of your apartment or chalet, you have a 10% discount on all ski passes for the Arinsal-Pal and Arcalís resorts, on the “All-Andorra” ski pass, on entrances to the Caldea spa and 20% on ski rental!

We can also arrange door-to-door transfers from all nearby airports.

Chalet review – Chalet Soltir from BoardingBansko.co.uk

Chalet Soltir is a newly renovated ski chalet dating from 1869 with the history of the building being tenderly preserved throughout the renovation process in 2006. Your hosts Amy and Mark met in the French Alps both working in similar high class chalets and brought their idea of opening a full catered ski chalet to Bansko 3 years ago.

The chalet sleeps up to 12 people including 2 family rooms and 2 twin/double rooms. After skiing you may want to enjoy a glass of hot mulled wine on our large terrace followed by a freshly baked cake served in our cosy lounge with a log burning stove and plenty to do including board games, DVD/VHS player and a Nintendo Wii. The chalet also has free WiFiand a laptop for you to use. In the evening we serve a wholesome 3 course meal in our grand dining room along with unlimited wine and beer.

We are situated 100 yards from the old cobbled town of Bansko and a further 100 yards from all the shops, bars and restaurants. The gondola is a 10 minute stroll fro the chalet but if you prefer we supply a private shuttle bus to and from the gondola with an option of dodging the queue, if their is one, by running you up to the next lift!
