Which hotel will it be?
We cannot say which hotel it will be before booking since we use many different hotels as we need access to a number of different rooms. Occasionally we will use two star hotels in busy locations such as seaside resorts during peak months. Customers are aware of the hotel within 24 hours of booking.
What are the personalised websites?
These websites are a god send for all agents, on them groups can see the whole itinerary please see 20002.greatescapades.co.uk for an idea of how these work. These websites can be designed with your company's colours and logos. This comes at a cost of £200 which is reimbursed after 10 bookings. Otherwise they will be Great Escapades sites.
Can you do these packages for other groups?
Of course we do packages for birthdays, social clubs and mixed groups. Stag and hen groups are the most popular hence that is the markets we look to sell to. There is however no difference for any other group.
How is commission paid?
Commission is taken out of the deposit the groups pay to you. Should you wish us to take over the groups after booking and answer all enquiries then simply send us the balance after you commission and leave us to deal directly with the group.
Payments?
Agents like to pay suppliers in different ways, we are happy to accept payment 7 days after the group has had their event, or as stated above we are happy to deal directly with the group and take payment ourselves. We can unfortunately not do both since it can get confusing if groups are dealing with two different people.
How long do the activities last?
Activity times vary from site to site but as a guide with motor sports the customers can expect half hour in the seat of the vehicle, this can increase to an hour but it's always best to quote half hour. Paintball can be done for half day or whole day. Unless otherwise advised we will always book 1 whole day paintball if one activity is chosen, there is no price reduction for half day only. Pampering lasts a day and includes a light lunch and one half hour treatment. For extra treatments we advise clients deal direct with the supp.
Flexibility
We can remain flexably on group sizes up to 6 weeks prior to the groups traveling. Simply take the approximate numbers at time of booking and £250 deposite and we will take care of the rest. You will need to contact the group leader 6 weeks from the time of travel to take final payment and final numbers (minimum group sizes still apply).
